I am now a professor in the Department of Mathematics at Nanjing University.

My research interests lie broadly in the span of optimization, nonconvex and nonsmooth problem, and machine learning . In particular, I have been developing methods appropriate for structured convex and noncovex models, and understanding the efficiency in compressive sensing. I am also interested in problems arising from machine learning and image processing.
