Ahmed Zoha
Ahmed Zoha is a lecturer at the School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK. He received his PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from 5G Innovation Centre at the University of Surrey, UK, and MSc in Communication Engineering from the Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Dr. Ahmed has more than 12 years of experience in the domain of artificial intelligence, big data-enabled self-organizing networks for wireless communication, healthcare technologies, and smart energy monitoring. His research work is centered around a broad range of machine learning applications spanning 5G network optimization, human behavior modeling for clinical interventions, non-intrusive load monitoring, and he strongly advocates the use of AI for social good. His research has been cited by national and international bodies, regulators, the media and he has also received two IEEE best paper awards.
