Saeed does research in Civil Engineering and Computational Algorithms. He has focused on the advanced numerical modeling in the Geomechanics utilizing Boundary Element Method (BEM). His Ph.D. thesis is devoted to the seismic analysis of topographic features by an orthotropic half-plane time-domain BEM and its engineering applications.
